[RESUMEN] ABSTRACT

Darwin's travel on board the H.M.S. Beagle, with Robert FitzRoy as the Captain, was posible thanks to the use of astronautical astronomy. The long trip, over un explored lands and seas, allowed the mission to collect valuable information on this area of astronomy, as also on other areas of the physical sciences.
