A New Concept of Determinism

ABSTRACT [RESUMEN]

In this essay the author analyses the concept of Determinism. According to him, this concept is in the process of being redefined: classic dialectic thought is rigid and proposes that, if all initial conditions and laws governing a phenomenon are known, it is possible to predict completely and at any time the state of a system. A new form of dialectic determinism would be currently emerging in great part inspired by experimental science itself, which is open to novelty, and the randomness and unpredictability of the evolution of the universe.
