[RESUMEN] ABSTRACT

Here we study the quantum-mechanic nature associated with the behavior of operational risks, linked to industrial activities of diverse origins and danger. The aim of the study is the establishment of predictive mathematical models, based on the concept of wave function and spectral analysis, in which the risk is no longer only a concept applied to prevention methodologies, but appears as a physical-mathematical entity with dual nature and aleatory behavior governed by Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle. The duality is based on a vectorial appearance associated with a pure mathematical existence on the one hand, and to a physical manifestation surrounding the work space (incident space), in the form of probability densities, on the other. This new concept is developed due to the urgent need to find efficient solutions that will contribute to the elimination of the physical manifestations of accidents, and the protection of both human and ecologies resourses, in which statistical methods have shown to be inefficient.
